Today my wife and 2 year-old son left for a week vacation at his grandparents.  It made the most sense, considering that our house is also the principal shooting location.  They get a vacation during a time when I’m going to be completely preoccupied with the project,  and I get the house to myself to conduct rehearsals and dress the set without getting in their way.

 

While the last few weeks have been busy for me, this time has been just as tough on them, as I’ve been spending most evenings and much of the weekends working on the project.  It will be nice for all of us when this project is complete.  I’m very lucky to have such an understanding and supportive family, and I’m looking forward to spending more time with them before I start my next project.
